Mindfulness Meditation for Teens utilizes guided meditation and other techniques (education, discussion, yoga) to help individuals learn to better experience their emotions and develop a sense of calmness. Participants will also receive strategies and exercises to continue this practice at home and once the workshop ends.

While we believe that mindfulness is a very useful and healthy practice for all, this is a particularly effective technique for individuals coping with anxiety, depression, or chronic pain conditions (chronic headaches/migraines, abdominal pain, etc. . .). We strongly recommend this program for all teens who have experienced these conditions.

Program Dates: 
Westwood – Wed evenings – April 4th – May 30th (No class April vacation week)
Parent Orientation: Wed, Mar 28th, 7:00-8:00 PM
Ages 14-16: 6:45-8:00 PM
Ages 17-18: 8:15-9:30 PM

Mansfield – Sun afternoons – April 1st – June 10th (No class April vacation week and Sun, May 27th)
Parent Orientation: Wed, Mar 21st, 6:00-7:00 PM
Ages 14-16: 1:00-2:15 PM
Ages 17-18: 2:30-3:45 PM

The program fee is $240 and registration with payment in full is due by March 21st. An early bird discounted fee of $225 is available for registration by March 1st.
