Dr. Strauss joined Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics in 2003. He graduated from Yale University (where he had occasion to play soccer with former Red Sox GM Theo Epstein!) and followed this with a year of research at the National Institutes of Health.
He obtained his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, during which time he participated in pediatric leukemia research at the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Dr. Strauss completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the Mass General Hospital for Children. He is board certified in pediatrics and has previously served on the Electronic Medical Record Committee of the Pediatric Physician’s Organization at Children’s.
He is interested in concussion management, sports medicine, developmental pediatrics, academic issues and general pediatrics.
He lives with his wife (a novelist), four children and Atticus, his 165 pound Newfoundland!
