Amanda joined Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics as Clinical Nurse Manager, in September of 2017. Amanda started her nursing career working in pediatric psychiatry as a Charge Nurse. Later, moving into pediatrics at a Non-Profit in Providence, RI. She has held various leadership positions, including being a Clinical Nurse Preceptor for the State of Rhode Island Nurse Residency program in 2014.

Amanda graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Anna Maria College, Summa Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing her MBA, with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, and will complete the program in June 2018. She is also an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Pediatrics is Amanda’s passion, along with improving the healthcare system overall. Her other areas of interest include behavioral health, healthcare administration, and nursing education.

Amanda currently resides in Cumberland, Rhode Island with her husband and two daughters.
