Annie grew up in Natick, MA and attended Boston College, receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology and History in 2002. Annie attended Boston University School of Social Work where she trained in outpatient therapy settings and The Gifford School. In 2004 she graduated with a Masters in Clinical Social work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

She began her career as a social worker for The Home for Little Wanderers in residential and therapeutic day school settings treating children, adolescents, and families. She worked in outpatient radiation and medical oncology for more than 3 years at The Center for Cancer Care at Exeter Hospital, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital. For the past 2 years, Annie has worked at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Psychiatry Service, with treatment focused on assessing and treating children, adolescents and young adults in psychiatric crisis. She remains an emergency psychiatric clinician on a per diem basis at BCH.
Annie’s clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families who are managing depression, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bereavement work, coping with medical illness and family conflicts. She is excited to be a part of Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics and hopes to join with patients and families as they strive to reach their full potential.
Outside of work, she is busy with her family – including her spouse, daughter, and 3 sons.
