Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics is pleased to offer on-site nutrition services at our Mansfield office through Karuna Nutrition & Movement. 

Karuna provides personalized nutrition care for children, teens, and families. Their Registered Dietitians offer compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to each child’s individual health and nutrition needs, while also supporting a healthy relationship with food.

Cindi Powell, MS, RD, LDN, CPT provides in-person nutrition counseling right here at our Mansfield office. 
Cindi specializes in pediatric and adolescent nutrition, including weight and growth concerns, eating disorders, feeding dynamics, and sports nutrition.

Telehealth Options 

Karuna also offers virtual nutrition counseling with Cindi and other Karuna Registered Dietitians. Virtual personal training is available with Karuna Certified Personal Trainers for patients and families looking for additional strength and movement support.

Karuna accepts many major insurance plans, including:

Many Massachusetts insurance plans may cover nutrition counseling at 100%. Karuna will verify your benefits before your intake and provide you with a summary of your coverage.

If you and your WMPeds care team decide that nutrition services may be helpful,* 

*there is no need for you to contact Karuna directly. 

Once WMPeds sends your referral, a Karuna Client Care Coordinator will contact you to schedule a brief intake. They will answer your questions, review your insurance benefits, and help schedule your first appointment.
