Services Offered:
At Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics, we offer a full range of services tailored to meet the needs of your newborn/child:
- Well-Child Visits: Regular check-ups track your baby’s growth and development. These visits are essential for monitoring milestones and ensuring your child is thriving.
- Sick Visits: Prompt, same-day care is available for any health concerns or illnesses that may arise. Our team is ready to address your worries and provide the best possible care for your child.
- Vaccinations: We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ guidance and vaccine schedule in order to protect your baby from various illnesses. Keeping up with the recommended vaccination schedule is crucial for your child’s health. Please take a moment to read our Immunization Policy.
- Lactation Consulting: Our office provides lactation consulting services to assist with breastfeeding challenges, answer questions, and offer guidance to support a successful breastfeeding experience.
- Behavioral Health Services: In-office and virtual support is available for a range of behavioral and emotional concerns, helping to ensure your child’s overall well-being as they grow. Affiliation with Boston Children’s Hospital Primary Care Alliance
We are proud to be part of Boston Children’s Hospital Primary Care Alliance. This partnership allows us to offer access to specialized pediatric care and a broad network of resources, ensuring your baby receives the highest quality of care. Our liaisons at Boston Children’s Hospital will help schedule specialist appointments. We have access to e-consults with Boston Children’s Hospital specialists as well.
Communication and Office Hours
- Phone Support: Call us during business hours to speak with a nurse for any questions or concerns. Our team is here to provide support and guidance.
- Patient Portal: Use our secure patient portal to send messages directly to your pediatrician, access your child’s medical records, and manage appointments. The portal is available 24/7 for your convenience.
- After-Hours Coverage: We offer 24/7 coverage for urgent concerns outside of regular office hours. For non-emergency issues, you can also reach out during our extended evening and weekend hours.
- Office Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (for urgent appointments)
- Sunday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (for urgent appointments)
- Holiday Closures: Our office is closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day
Schedule a Newborn Visit
To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to call prior to discharge from the newborn nursery and schedule your newborn’s first visit with us for the day after your baby is discharged from the hospital. This visit is crucial for assessing your baby’s health and addressing any questions you may have.
